Olive Restoration Day 3 - Power Up

Day 3 of getting the Olive in shape for sampling - cleaning the modules and powering up the frame.

The first bus card is inserted underneath the monitor section, which will allow other modules to be inserted after cleaning.

Now that Clark has connected the power bussing, audio bus card assembly continues, as rear connectors wait in line.

The input channels were wrapped in plastic, keeping out the filth that collected on top.

Unfortunately, the plastic was not airtight, allowing almost every module to become quite fouled.

All channels are now retrieved from the barn location, and await cleaning.

36 input modules are now sparking clean, with all the dust, dirt, and bird droppings quite neatly transferred to Craig's clothes, face, and head.

Effects returns are very much like regular input channels, but are dedicated to a specific type of input.

Patchbay connections for sampling are ready for the big day - tomorrow!
